Al Dhaman Holding for Medical Investments Co. Ltd (DHMIC) is the dedicated medical investment arm of Sudan's Social Insurance Investment Authority (SSIA). Established under the SSIA umbrella (SSIA founded July 2004; operations from 2005), DHMIC recovers and expands healthcare assets and advances pharmaceutical independence through an integrated hospital network, biomedical and pharma manufacturing, and medical companies and services.

A message from Dr. Ashraf Abdalla (Ashraf Obeid Mohamed Elhadi), Chief Executive Officer. Al Dhaman Holding for Medical Investments Co. Ltd (DHMIC) is the dedicated medical investment arm of Sudan's Social Insurance Investment Authority (SSIA). Our mandate is to manage pension and social-insurance assets through healthcare investment that rehabilitates Sudan's health sector. The group operates three hospitals: Merowe Medical City in Northern State, Sharq El-Nile Specialized Hospital in Khartoum, and Elobyyied International Hospital in Kordofan State. Industrial and commercial subsidiaries include Ain Sudan IV Fluids Factory, Avamed for Medical Industries, Liliam for Pharmaceutical Industries, and Nasif Medical — our distribution and agency arm representing international medical companies. The Daman Medical Training and Research Center supports professional development and applied research across the network. We work in alignment with the Federal Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Human Resources Development and Social Welfare. Our forward programme includes new hospitals and diagnostic centers, and a medical cotton and gauze manufacturing project.

DHMIC is a subsidiary of the Social Insurance Investment Authority (SSIA) of Sudan, aligned with national healthcare priorities and with the Federal Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Human Resources Development and Social Welfare.

Governance

The holding oversees investment discipline, operational performance of hospitals and industrial subsidiaries, and compliance with applicable governance standards across the group.
